I'm trying to create a formula on a Form that concatenates two text fields for use as a lookup in another form.
When I create the formula:
Episode_Name + " " + Episode_Number
I get the below error. I've tried this on multiple forms with different fields - all with the same result. What am I doing wrong??

in my app I just created a devnote field & date field that are hidden from users, put my own dev notes in there. Alternatively you can use Zoho Wiki, Planner, Write, Share or whatever tool suits you to create your own notes on your app.

Hi,
I'm loving Zoho Creator so far, but I have a roadblock that I hope has a simple answer.
I'm creating an application to keep track of a Student "Merit/Demerit" behavior system for a middle school. Teachers enter an incident report every time a student earns a positive "merit" or a negative "demerit". I'd like to create a view that only showed a student's name once along with their current total merits, total demerits, and cumulative total ( = merits - demerits). However I can't find a way to make Creator show only one entry per student with just these totals, instead it wants to always show every incident report for every student.
Is this something easy to accomplish? It seems like it would be, but I'm new at this
The app name is "Merits 3" and I believe I've shared it with Support.

Hi,
It would be great to have the ability to add tasks simply by shooting an email to a particular email address..
Being on the road at all and in discussions with clients, there are tasks that come up which are hard to record if you are not in front of a computer...
It would be terrific if we could:
1) Register our email address from which tasks would be allowed to be posted -
2) Have an email address such as mycompany@projects.zoho.com where the task to be added should be sent
3) Have a simple template format where subject line is the task name and the message body can have start date: , end date: etc. that could then be parsed out and used to create the task
This would not be a replacement for using the online system but simply a quick and VERY easy way to collect tasks in one place and then organize them logically at a later time

Hi,
We've had literally each of our clients ask for the ability to add the tasks and milestones created in the Project tool to their outlook or Google calendar..
Clients and Contractors are less likely to want to login and keep track of the project through the project, but they are very inttd in having email notifications for projects assigned to them and the information on the key dates available on their calendar app - that's how they think about the projects, as certain tasks that will happen at a certain time..

Hi Jim,
The reason you might be getting this error is that you have chosen a field not to accept any Duplicate values ie you might have checked "No duplicate entries" for a field. And, when you enter a value that has already been entered, an exception is thrown as the one you got. So, kindly check if any of your fields has this option checked and uncheck it. Try adding the data now.
If the problem still persists, kindly Share your application with Support so that we can debug it. Also, provide us with your Username and the name of your application and the Form with which you are having this issue. To Share,
1. Go to the Edit mode of your application and click on Share tab.
2. Here, click on the link "Share to Support"

Hi,
When you add an Image field to your Form, a text field will appear in which you have to enter the URL of an Image. An Image stored on your Hard drive cannot be entered here. If you would like to Upload Images, you can do this using the File Upload field. When you Upload an Image, a link will be shown in the View, clicking on which the Image will open.

Sridhar, I just tweeted about it. I would like to have an app which will sync docs, spreadsheets, etc. with Google Apps and/or other providers. It will help convince users that they can move their data to the cloud and have a peace of mind. This kinda sync will make sense till cloud computing becomes the household name like desktop computers.

After some testing I noticed that this problem shows up when creating/editing any record (potential, activity, task) which has Date field in it and date is entered.
If I create a task without date, it goes well. If I enter the date, I get a white screen. In Potentials date is required, so I get the error every time. All records without Date work fine.
So the error is with the Date field somewhere.

I am not clear what you have done here? I have found it easy to 'sub-divide' the Projects column.
All my projects are 'housed' within 10 categories or subject headings, as you have mentioned with your own organisation.
I fail to understand why you are unable to utilise the same subject headings and sort your projects under these? Am I missing something here?

You are allowed to associate resumes with status "New" only, so as to avoid the user from reassigning an already associated resume. So please check whether the resume you tried to move was in a status other than "New". In such case you may have to add few more resumes and try. If the issue persists for resumes in "New" status also please let us know. We can schedule a webconference meeting to resolve the issue.

Thanks for sharing the form code with us.
There is a discrepancy in the value of the url parameter that you have used in the normal form submit. We have mentioned in the [url=http://writer.zoho.com/public/help/writer.rem oteapi/fullpage]help doc[/url] that

For example the url value should look like the one mentioned here : http://abc.com/documents/[b]test.html[/b]
While you have mentioned the url value without any file extension and hence the exception "unable to import content".
Please provide an absolute file path as mentioned above and it should work fine.

Sometime in the last 24 hours we have received draft posts (sent via email from Zoho Creator) of what looks to be the entire backlog of previously unreceived submissions.
Additionally, the "on hold" category of submissions which we approve and have sent over manually are now sending properly when we request this.
So it appears to be working again!
What I need to know now is:
Do you know how the error occurred? We were almost a week without sent emails, and I have already had to publish the majority of these by retyping them by hand (they are made up of small pieces of information which we must reformat and shift around a great deal when recreating these from scratch rather than automatically. There were almost a hundred submissions processed this way, after three days of true "downtime" on the site before we went this route. It has been a bad week.
Has a fix been implemented? Or has it randomly begun working again, after a period of problems we still can't identify?
I have been planning to upgrade to a professional account on Zoho Creator, but stability is quite critical to our site's success and I have been wondering if Creator could provide the service we require. Knowing how this happened and whether we have the power to keep it from happening in the future will weigh heavily in our decisions in the near future.
Looking forward to an update.
